So I am one of those people who makes goals a lot. And gets pumped up for like, two seconds.
That's puuurrrty much why last year stank eggs and I barely passed regulars chemistry.
But THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR will be different.
Right...
AGH! YES!!! It WILL. It must.
This year, I will:
1. Get straight A's. Which is harder than it seems. Know why?? Because I am taking cosmetology at EVIT. And they're grading system is different. Like this:
A=95%-100%
B=90%-94.9%
C=85%-89.9%
D=80%-84.9%
Otherwise, you fail.
Ya. Kinda scary.
BUT it's cosmetology. Seriously. I make the hair cute, I draw flowers on people's nails, and apply eyeshadow to a mannequin. How hard can it be? (*Knock on wood...*)
2. I will write in my planner in every class.
Because guess what? I got a suuuuupper cute planner from Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago. It is very cute. And it helps me be all organized and such.
3. I will exercise. Every day. I even have a schedule so it doesn't get old.
Ya. Yay me.
4. I will do allll of my homework the night before. No more of this terrible, finish-it-in-seminary-or-lunch business.
5. I will read my scriptures for fifteen to twenty minutes eeevvvery dayyyy.
That was not happening last year. I read them every day, but only a few verses, much of the time. It was no bueno.
6. I will not procrastinate.
Ya. I don't know how this will be accomplished yet. Somebody tell me.
7. I kind of need to be more competitive. I am not usually competitive, but when I get it in me, I rule the school. And win Fruit Gushers from my chem teacher because I rock at pluggin' stuff into formulas better than those other suckas, yo.
8. I will make reading schedules, and stick to them. So that I will know what people are talkin' 'bout when we are going over A Tale of Two Cities.
9. I will be friendly to everyone. I think.
Dang it.
10. I will go to bed by 10:00 every night.
Probably not. But I'll try really hard.
I rock for making goals. The end.

Mimi oh Mimi... how I love thee!
ReplyDeleteI've been making some of the same goals myself, but beware... I'm not gonna lie. Junior year is killer so far! HOWEVER... I made a goal to write my homework in a planner, and so far it's been helping me so much! I still miss some homework in my Biotech class, but that's because my teacher is from Singapore and I can barely understand a word she says when she tells us the homework... but THAT, my dear, is a story for another day. :)
I love ya!
Mwah!
Jadyn
You can do it Mimi! I believe in you! :)
