The trouble with schools is, they always try to teach the wrong lessons.

So, today I was thinking,

"Man, oh man, I sure do like "The Story of Us" by Taylor Swift. It's a jump-on-the-bed-with-an-air-guitar kinda song. I wish Taylor Swift would make a music video..."

Then I went on Youtube.

This is Rachel. I fur-reakin' love her. Like a lot. We spent all Tuesday job-huntin', jeans-huntin', yogurt-consumin', senior pictures-gettin', and movie-watchin'.

I actually DID cry for this one. I don't want to spoil it. You will have to go on Netflix and see for yourself. OH my goodness. I could watch this one every day.
But this is a music video for a song in the movie. This song made me cry too. Every girl needs to hear this song.

Music Touches My Soul

I must interrupt the 31 Day Picture thing for an important post.

Sometimes I read something or hear something that gets me right in the heart, and I would feel selfish if I didn't share.

Today I was listening to "I Believe in Christ", and the whole thing just warmed me. Whether you are Christian or Mormon, Catholic or whatever else, this song sounds to every heart with a love of Jesus Christ.

I Believe in Christ:

I believe in Christ, He is my king. With all my heart, to Him I'll sing. I'll raise my heart in praise and joy; in grand amens my tongue employ.

I believe in Christ, He is God's son. On earth to dwell His soul did come. He healed the sick, the dead He raised, good works were His; His name be praised.

I believe in Christ; oh blessed name! As Mary's son, He came to reign 'mid mortal men, His earthly kin, to save them from the woes of sin.

I believe in Christ, who marked the path, who did gain all His Father hath, who said to men, "Come, follow me, that ye, my friends, with God may be."
