I am now all mature and adult-like.

Yes. Because now I am a licensed driver. Tah-daahhh.
Yes, I know, most teenagers get their license before they graduate high school.
But I am not mainstream like that. Hipster lyfe 4ever.

Anyway, it was weird because I still need to take a placement test at the community college to see what classes I need to take this semester, so I was online trying to get an appointment, and I hollered,
"Mommyyyy, what time should I set the appointment for?"
And my mom hollered back,
"I don't care, I'm not taking you."

And my face went like this.

People. I can't take this kind of independence.
And then I went on Google Maps to figure out how to get to the campus I was testing at.
And I knew exactly where I needed to go.
So I scheduled the appointment for the exact time I wanted to go.
And then I went like this.

Whaddup, brehh.

If you know anywhere that's hiring, hit me up in the comments. PLEASE.

I've been feeling purty good lately.
That may have to do with the fact that I graduated two days ago.

And that I am going on a reunion this weekend.
I actually really like family reunions.
Well, this one anyway.

Lately, I have been having too much fun with my webcam (as you may have seen in my previous post).
Observe:
Yes. I used rollers. They are quite the nifty tool, actually. My hair was very voluminous there for a while, which is difficult for my fine, heavy hair (unless i tease it, which sometimes just ends up gross).

So yeah. The job search continues. I actually prayed last night that I wouldn't work at a food place. I hope that's a righteous desire, because honestly, I don't know if I could take it. I am a very smell-oriented person, and don't get me wrong, I love me a 5-layer burrito once in a while, but if I had to work at Taco Bell for 20 hours a week, the smell would probably make me sick to my stomach. I'll apply at food places, because, well, it's money. And I need that.
I'm filling out applications to places halfway across the valley. Realize with me that my beauty school is an hour away from my house. As long as my job is between those two places, I am totally okay working there. So I have a pretty wide geographic range of opportunities. So, if I hit all the places I'm planning on and I still don't get hired at any of them, I'm going to quit beauty school and open an Etsy shop where I sell eccentric boondoggle keychains.

Actually, that sounds like a pretty good plan. Don't tempt me.

*insert cliche graduation song by either green day or vitamin c*

That was a great four years.
I am going to miss all of my wonderful, smart, beautiful friends. I look up to all of them so much. I am going to miss the school, the teachers, the odd creatures that attended the school...
But I am really excited for my future. I am proud of the person high school has shaped me into, and I can't wait to head into college and a salon and learn to do what I love.
This is it!
Bring it on! :)

life's a happy song, when there's someone by your side to sing along

I really do like blogging.
I swear.
I'm just not in the habit of it anymore. But hopefully I'll get there.

I am almost done with high school! Graduation day is six days away! Yeah! Close!

While I count down the minutes before I am officially a high school graduate, please enjoy my prom pictures.

And then we boogied all night and had a grand old time. :)
